Planet Crafter | Early Access – Custom Mode | Season 4 | Episode 39 | Starting the Beach Base!
Time for a new season of The Planet Crafter! Season 4 will be a custom mode version of the terraforming survival game, with the settings tuned to be standard difficulty, but significantly sped up progress and double the meteor events. We are still playing the early access version of the game, and currently playing in the Quality of Life Update!
Now that we have finished the Rift Base, it’s time to start a new base overlooking the new beach biome. We will be building in the air in the waterfall area, and we have an approximate base location already selected. We have the drone T2 fleet set to supply & demand the resources from the old ore extractor T3 farm at the Rift base, but they are taking too long so we help then finish up and move the extractors over. We set up a teleporter at the top and bottom for ease of travel, and set up a supply of good on a small bridge made of foundation grid using a couple locker storage T2. We also manage to lock ourselves inside a build, but escape using an indoor ladder.

Today we finally put the finishing touches on the Rift Base, and look at the map view to see how it looks from space. It turns out the roofs of living compartments don’t take well to Railings, but we have a lot of windows to add to the base and some doors and an indoor ladder or 11. We also fill in the last two tree spreader T3 units with some tree seed Rosea we got from the trade rocket, and replace the spent terra tokens with a huge crate meteor filled with more of them. We do a final look around and complete the build with a brief base tour.
