The new Procedural Wrecks update is the perfect time to start another new season of The Planet Crafter! Season 5 will be a custom mode version of the terraforming survival game, with the settings tuned to what we learned from last season. We still have nearly double the meteor events. We are still playing the early access version of the game, and currently playing in the Procedural Wrecks Update!

We start off today by rushing over to the Crater Area, looking to check on the giant iridium meteor only to see we still have to navigate the dust cloud. We easily find a decent sized iridium rod haul, and even get a bunch of iridium and some super alloy too. We have a near death experience getting lost in the cloud, but after surviving by the skin of our teeth we head over and loot a golden crate on the way back to home base. We finally get around to a bit of base building, starting with a food grower relocation. We add another one to also grow mushroom seeds. We move the information screens, as well as the biolab and biodome. We also earn some great unlocks today during the building, like the Biodome T2, plants rocket, and lake water collector, which we don’t build today.
