Let’s Play The Crust. Gameplay. Tutorial Enabled.

In this Let’s Play video, you will see me play The Crust. This game is a Base Builder Colony Simulation on the Moon with Factory Automation mechanics. I will be playing the Tutorial and the Storyline mode. At the start of the game, you’re tasked to gather resources and research new technologies for your company. After a disaster occurred, you are put in a unique position to supply various corporations and factions resources for profit. This game let’s you create a lunar colony where you build rooms underground similar to “Rim World”, “Evil Genius”, “Galacticare”, “Two Point Hospital”, “Dungeon Keeper”, and must mine the walls to gather resources. You’ll need to process these resources and make various products with automation mechanics similar to “Factorio”. Create a functional habitat with Oxygen, Water, and Food to house Colonists. You’ll get some “Oxygen Not Included” vibes from this game. You’ll also need to send out scouts on expeditions to explore the surface of the moon (similar to “Frostpunk” and make decisions on tough choices that will have consequences). You’ll also need to manage your energy resources by creating solar panels and batteries to prepare for when the Moon goes dark. The game reminds me of “Imagine Earth” and “Offworld Trading Company” with the story narratives and the gathering resources for profit part. I really enjoyed playing The Crust, and looking forward to seeing more content developed in Early Access. I highly recommend this game!

In the sixteenth episode of Planet Crafter hardcore mode we narrowly avoid DESTRUCTION. But we hit some important milestones and unlock some big, important new machines.

Planet Crafter is a survival open world terraforming crafting game for 1 to 10 players. Alter the ecosystem of an inhospitable planet to render it habitable to humanity. Survive, gather resources, and build your base. Then, generate Oxygen, Heat, and Pressure to create a brand new biosphere.

In this first let’s play episode we tackle the challenge of Hardcore Mode by traversing a treacherous landscape to find a biome more fitting for survival. Plus, we explore a crashed wreck to gather food and supplies. Along the way we’ll craft basic machines to begin terraforming this desolate planet.

The challenge of Hardcore Mode in Planet Crafter is if you die, your save file is automatically deleted. Plus, in hardcore mode the oxygen, thirst and hunger drain faster than other modes. And, to top it off, we start in a very, very difficult biome. Can we survive more than one episode? Watch along to find out!
